Description:
Officially named the 3-Line Rifle M1891, the Mosin rifle is one of the highest produced military rifles in existence, with over 37 million made. Through their long lifespan they have been in use by first the Russian Empire, then the Soviet Union, followed by all of their satellite nations as well as seeing use by many nations across the world as surplus and wartime aid. This Rife is a Pre 1928 Izhevsk manufactured rifle, likely a 91 or dragoon, which had received the 91-30 conversion. This rifle has likely seen a lot of use, having substantial barrel wear, to the point that the muzzle needed to be back bored to maintain accuracy. After being imported by Century, one of its owners added a set of peep sights for use in target shooting, indicating at least moderate accuracy potential. Overall condition is good, with no major faults in the stock, and only light external wear to the metal parts.
