"NSN, manufactured circa early 20th century, chambered in .58 caliber with a 43 ¾" round rifled barrel. The barrel exhibits a smooth grey patina with a simple style chiseled pattern at both the breech and muzzle, secured by five hand-formed brass barrel bands. The lock plate is crisply marked with a lion over Crown/2, while the rear of the hammer bears a clear 1815 date.The distinctive curved stock is a hallmark of the Afghan Jezail, and this example is lavishly inlaid with mother-of-pearl, forming intricate geometric patterns across the entire length. Mechanically, the action holds firmly at both half and full cock.
