!873 Winchester rifle in 38wcf (.38-40). Serial # 357233B, made 1890. Special order rifle 24" round barrel with half (button) magazine. Please see photos. The rifle has some traces of finish left on the barrel and receiver. the action functions smoothly. The bore shows rifling with a ring present about 10" in from the muzzle. The gun still shoots and ejects fine as I took it to the range the first week in August and put 50 rounds thru it. I was able to hit the paper at approx. 40 yrds. Antique, NO FFL Needed.
