Description:
We have here a pair of engraved 1911A1 WWII era pistols, one a Colt and one a Remington Rand. The Colt 1911A1 is Serial 782523 (YOM 1942) and the Remington Rand 1911A1 is Serial 2135789 (YOM 1945). Both pistols are engraved in the same manner and have gold wire inlays. The engraver is not known. The Remington Rand is missing a piece of gold wire on the left side of the slide about 1.5 inches long. Both pistols are in excellent condition with good bores and have after market grips. Both pistols are in good mechanical condition. I bought this pair a number of years ago at so I do not have any information on their history. Checks and money orders are welcome.
