The Smith & Wesson SD40 is an affordable striker fired, polymer framed pistol with a 4\" barrel chambered in 40SW that many feel outclasses more expensive competitors. Starting with a stainless steel slide the SD40 features deep, easy to grab, front and rear serrations and a durable Melanite finish with a witness hole to check your chamber status. Bright 3-dot dovetailed sights provide a good sight picture. The ergonomic polymer frame features a large, easy to operate slide stop and textured grip with a textured finger pad in front of the trigger to aid in a consistent secure gip. Out front an accessory rail provides for your choice of weapon light/laser.
