32781-SUPERIOR WW2 WWII REMINGTON U.S. MODEL 1903 .30-06 CAL. RIFLE DATED 7-42. Early War production stamped behind front sight “R A/ORDNANCE BOMB/7-42”. All original and matching as issued with all the original Parkerizing and wood finish. Mint Ordnance Inspector’s cartouches “RLB/CROSSED CANNONS” stamped on side panel. Near mint overall and in tight working order and mint bore. Nicest one of these we have had. Type used by Marines in the Pacific prior to the issue of the M1 Garands. With original issue leather sling. $1350.
