Description: This Hand Ejector is known as "The Outdoorsman," the civilian version of the .38/44 M&P pistol. The Outdoorsman eventually morphed into the Model 23. Both pistols were designed to handle a high pressure/high performance loading of the .38 Special cartridge, intended for police work and intended to defeat armor and car bodies. This job was eventually given to the .357 Magnum, presumably to mitigate the risk of loading high performance into weaker guns. This one is in very good condition and features wide target trigger and hammer, as well as target sights. Nice collector piece, suitable for anything a revolver is needed to do. .38 S&W Special SOLD Chambers: 6 rounds Metal Condition: "Good to very good. There is some blue wear at the muzzle, and a turn line. The blue is actually quite good. Wood Condition: Very good. There are a few minor handling marks.
