Description:
The Weatherby Vanguard VGX Deluxe was manufactured between 1989 and 1993. Chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, it has a 24" barrel.
The Monte Carlo stock with skipline checkering is finished in high gloss and features the rosewood grip cap and forend tip. It also has a factory buttpad. The bluing is is also a high gloss finish. The wood and bluing both present very well, with no chips, scratches, or gouges. The rifling of this rifle is crisp and clean.
With this condition and the low amount of bluing loss on the bolt head, we believe that this Weatherby has a low round count. We have found the face of the striker on the bolt which engages the sear to have extremely low evidence of contact. This further supports our claim of low use. Please see red arrow in photo.
Accompanying this rifle is a 6x Leupold M8 scope. This scope is unique in that it is using a European post-style reticle.
