The FN 509 MRD is a striker-fired, polymer-framed 9mm pistol from FN America that’s designed with optics readiness in mind. It’s part of the FN 509 family, which is based on the company’s entry into the U.S. Army’s Modular Handgun System competition. The MRD variant (“Miniature Red Dot") comes pre-cut to accept a variety of pistol optics.
