Here's a Excellent Example of A Civil War Henry Rifle ! Serial number 5570. Comes with 8 Henry Rifle Cartridges. Gun has been repaired on both upper and lower tang . Professionally Repaired in the period. The Original stock has several repairs also . Looks like gun was dropped . Beautiful Repair on the Tangs .barrel has turned a blue brown grey patina with strong blue in the flute. Frame is in excellent condition. Rear sight has been modified. Very nice Shootble Bore . Mechanics are in very good condition. Gun is working properly with a weak hammer . Hammer will need a spring replaced . Gun came with 8 original cartridges and a spring for the hammer.
