Here is an Antique Flobert Rare single shot musket for Children of Military School, manufactured by Liège of the Belgian Fabrique Nationale supplied with success many French Military Schools. No FFL required, pre-1898. 28" Round Barrel with an excellent shinny bore with sharp rifling. Chambered for the accurate marked as an 8mm FL which is a .32 rimfire with the crowned oval “FEG" of Liège meaning it was manufactured after 1893 and before 1898. Original finish rates 75% of the factory blue finish turning patina. Serial number "35" is stamped on the left side the octagonal part of the barrel shank. The full length of the walnut stock bears scratches of racks, military metal butt plate. After the defeat of France 2nd Empire of 1870 War against Prussia, the government of the new French Repubiic had lost to Germany two of its largest and rich territorial land Alsace & Lorraine which will only regained at the end WWI paying an heavy price of lives of these kids who trained over 3 consecutive decades to march in good order and shoot with little muskets. What is not written on the description would be on the pictures. I haven't shot it. It was well kept and preserved. Old Rimfire cartridges, pamphlets & pictures showed on one of the picture are NOT for sale. Perfectly shootable for collector who knows what is to shoot which such refined rare piece of history.
