Description:
"Serial No. F23080, made circa 1956, 7.5 French, 24.5" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong rifling and some traces of packing grease still present in the grooves. Serial numbers are matching throughout. Rifle is in overall excellent condition with very few storage marks noted. Action is smooth and functions correctly. As an updated variant of the MAS 36, the 36/51 featured an integral grenade launcher and saw service during the First Indochina War, Algerian War, and various Cold War deployments. A clean and correct example of a postwar French military rifle.
