Description:
Winchester Model 21 side by side 16 bore ejector gun with 28” barrels and 28 bore Briley short inserts. The gun is choked improved cylinder and modified. Length of pull of 14 1/8” to an orange Winchester recoil pad.
Prince of Wales stock, mechanical single selective gold-plated trigger, auto safety with gold inlaid “SAFE” ahead of the safety catch, “R” and “L” for barrel selection engraved by the trigger, hold open top lever, matted concave rib, front bead, checkered splinter forend and wrist with mullered borders. The barrels are a combination of dovetail and chopper lump styles. Serial numbers match on the action, barrels, forend iron and, forend wood. Circa 1937 gun with 2 ¾” chambers.
Unengraved sculpted action and furniture, both blued. Walnut stock with good figure. In excellent overall condition. Excellent bluing on barrels and action. Bores rate excellent as well. The checkering remains in excellent condition while the stock shows some scratches minor compression marks. One crack in the wrist emanating from behind the top tang. Top lever remains right of center, barrels on face, and ejectors slightly out of time.
