These FBM rifles built for export were not required to be proofed by the German Gov't and apparently had no date codes marked

Action:The Mauser 66 has a somewhat unique telescoping bolt action. When the bolt is released the action comes back with the bolt about half way and then the bolt continues to go back. The action works smoothly and is mechanically solid. It is fed by an internal magazine and has a cross bolt safety on the bolt, very light handling marks on the action.
Grip Stock:Very nice checkered Monte Carlo grip stock with cheek rest, a few light handling marks, however the finish has very fine line cracking in it, some finish has cracked off the white diamond on the grip cap.
