Description:
The Stevens High Power 425 is a high quality lever action rifle which competed with Winchester and marlin from 1911 to 1917. With only around 5000 made before the company was bought by savage and the model discontinued, most people have never heard of the model and less have seen it. This example, chambered in the discontinued .25 Remington cartridge is in fair overall condition, appearing mechanically functional, but with very heavy wear. aside from the significant finish wear, the buttstock has been broken and repaired, and there have been scope mounts installed on the rifle. The buttplate also appears to be a handmade replacement.
