Description:
The Rarest of the Semi Auto Nylon 66's only 16,474 of Gallery Special models were produced out of the 1,050,336 nylon 66 models made. This particular model was a true gallery gun used in carnivals thought the north east and canada. We purchased it from the daughter of the original carni owner who remembers traveling with her father and shooting this gun at events. It is not a safe queen and has been extensively used. We have cleaned it and test fired it in our shop. It functions flawless and is very fun to shoot in .22 Short. It is still accurate although we did notice some barrel bulges as we ran a patch down the bore. The gallery special has three defining features that the other Remington Nylons do not. Most noticeably is the shell deflector affixed over the ejection port. it also came from the factory with a mounted ring at the front of the stock to chain the gun down to the shooting bench. and lastly it is chambered in .22 Short.
