32927-ORIGINAL CIVIL WAR CONFEDERATE LEMAT TRANSITION 1ST MODEL LEMAT 10 SHOT PERCUSSION REVOLVER SERIAL NUMBER 692 CIRCA EARLY 1862. Rifled .42 caliber part octagon, part round 7” barrel with “COL. LEMAT/BTE. S.C.D.C. PARIS” address over 5” smoothbore .63 caliber barrel. Features include First Model part round part round barrel, no loading lever catch on barrel and swivel lanyard ring butt cap. All original and matching in excellent condition with approximately 80% original blue and balance a nice even patina. Excellent to near mint grips with all the original finish and checkering. Nipples with all the original blue in perfect condition. Perfect working order and excellent bright bores in both barrels. Recently found example that still had four chambers loaded. Superb example and very rare.
