"Serial No. M44037021, made in 1946 at Izhevsk Arsenal, 7.62x54R, 20 ½" round barrel. Original serial numbers are matching throughout. Right side of the receiver is import marked. Metal finish remains strong with signs of light use. Bayonet has been removed, as occasionally seen on reissued or exported examples. Stock is in very good condition, with only minimal handling impressions visible. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A solid post-war Soviet carbine reflecting the final years of Mosin-Nagant production before transitioning to newer platforms in the Cold War era.
