"Serial No. 2254964, made in January 1944, .30-06, 24" round barrel marked 11-43. Rifle retains approximately 95% of its finish, with parts correctly marked SA (Springfield Armory). The operating rod is of the cut variety, consistent with arsenal-upgraded examples. Stock is in very good condition, showing minimal handling wear and solid cartouche retention. Action is smooth and functions correctly. A fine example of a mid-war M1 Garand.
