Description:

Standard configuration Colt 1911A1 Pistol, blued finish, in .38 Super with fixed sights and 5-inch barrel. Left side of slide marked "COLT SUPER .38/AUTOMATIC" with Rampant Colt logo. Right side of slide with standard Colt Hartford Connecticut address over the full SN on the frame. "95" inspection marking on right trigger guardhas broken through the blue. Checkered brown plastic grips moulded with encircled rampant Colt. Correct magazine with 8 indicator holes and floorplate marked with “COLT SUPER/.38 AUTO”. Complete with original brown textured shipping box with Colt logo, hinged lid, and matching serial number in white wax pencil on base, containing parts schematic and cleaning rod in paper sleeve.

Condition:

Pistol is near new with 99+% of bright original finish. Minor wear from cycling. In-the-white barrel seemingly brightened/polished at muzzle. Grips near new. Excellent magazine with insertional wear. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. G/VG box with considerable scuffing, shelf wear, and carefully glued repairs without losses. Excellent literature and sleeve brush. An extremely high condition, full size, 1911A1 commercial pistol in .38 Super with box and literature, sure to please any collector!
