Description:
Here is a very interesting shotgun. It is a Savage/Stevens Model 124 chambered in 12 Ga 2-3/4". The barrel is 28" the stock is tenite and is solid. The most interesting part of this gun is the action which is a manually operated straight pull. The bolt is pulled out about an 1/8" which unlocks it and then is can be pulled straight back and pushed straight forward. When pushed all the way forward the breach locks and cannot be opened until fired or the release lever is pressed. Sort of like a manually operated semi auto. Very neat gun these were made from 1947-1952. This would be a great add to your collection. 12 Gauge
