Description:
A totally original Colt .44-40 Saddle Ring Carbine with 20 inch barrel and carbine butt. Weight is 6 lb 1 oz. Carbine is functioning normally with no problems whatever. Bore about good. Chamber excellent. Original blued finish has turned to a dark patina as shown in the photos. Sights are original. Wood is original and excellent, including the checkered forend, Butt with only a few handling marks and no cracks. Carbine is totally original with no restoration or parts replaced. No ffl transfer required as carbine is definitely an antique.
