Description:
Very good condition C Sharps Old Reliable. Manufactured Sharps rifle Co. Bridgeport Connecticut. Chamber is .40 2 1/2 Converted to center fire in 1880. Sharps cartridge rifles were built up from former percussion receivers and lock plates. Barrel has not been relined. Stock has been refinished, stampings are still visible. Manufacture date indicated 1865. .40-70 WCF
