The fore-end and stock are matching with dark walnut. This gun has the perfect bluing to match it. This gun was made in Japan by Miroku. It was built as a lever action with the capacity of 7. This gun is 4052 out of 5000. There were 5,000 of these models made in 1990. Browning model 53 was only made for one year which was 1990. This gun has a 22-inch barrel along with a U sight. It also comes with the original manual.
