Winchester Model 1894 rifle in caliber 38-55, serial number 213915, standard features are 26" round barrel, full magazine, solid frame, include plain walnut stocks, plain trigger, rifle butt witt steel butt plate, open sights, blued and case-hardened finish.
CONDITION: All metal surfaces retain 60% finish having turned a smooth plum patina; the loading gate retains 65% bright fire blue. The bore has consistent but frosty rifling, no bad pitting, should spin a bullet just fine, rated at a 6 of 10. Stocks show typical nicks and dings, a small sliver missing upper right tang, a very small piece glued back in the fore arm upper left by fore end cap, lightly cleaned at one point with linseed oil or other finish added. Action is smooth and crisp with a properly working half cock safety. Original front and rear sights are intact. Magazine tube is tight with no wobble. Overall grades NRA Good and will make a fine addition to any Winchester collection.
