Marlin Model 336T Texan (straight grip) serial number AC17055 with gold trigger and gold saddle ring made 1967. Saddle ring version was only produced from 1965 to 1970, so these are very desirable carbines. Features a 20" Microgroove round barrel with ramped front sight (hood missing) and JM stamp, full magazine, plain walnut stocks, blued finish, solid frame.
CONDITION: All blued surfaces retain 98% original blue. Trigger and saddle ring retain 98% gold finish. White line spacer in butt stock not shrunk and trademark Bullseye remains. Original front and rear open sights are intact. Action is smooth with a properly working half cock safety. Stocks show some light nicks and scratches. Superb bore, a 9.75 of 10. A superior condition combined with desirable features bring this on into the highly collectible class. NRA Fine!!
