Remington Model 14 1/2 in caliber 38 Rem / 38 WCF aka 38-40 in the rare carbine version with 18.5" round barrel. Full magazine, pump action, open sights, plain walnut stocks, plain pistol grip, 8-shot magazine, metal logo butt plate, serial number 44399, no model designation on receiver so made between 1913 to 1924.
CONDITION: Receiver retains 30% original thinning blue. Barrel and magazine tube are about 10% original thinnig blue with expected wear to the mag tube from working the pump action. Muzzle shows some nicks/dings on the outer edge that doesn't affect the rifling. Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, still tight and proud, with some extra grain in the rear portion of the butt stock. Original sights are intact and the markings are clear. The action works as it should, as does the push button safety at the rear of the trigger bow. Bore is super bright and shiny, minimal wear, rated at a 9.5 of 10. A collector's prize that will also make a fun shooter!
