Interesting Glock 19 Gen 2 with unusual frame having blued serial number insert complete with spare finger extension magazine, cleaning rod, and an early Tupperware type box serial numbered to gun but citing it as a Gen 1.

Description:

Standard configuration Glock 19 Gen 2 with 4 inch barrel, fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight, both with white highlights. Left side of slide marked with manufacturer, model, country of origin, and caliber. Full serial number on right side of barrel hood and slide, each suffixed by Austrian proofs. Textured and checkered Gen 2 frame with unusual blued SN insert. Two original high cap 9mm magazines marked for 15 rounds, one with finger extension. Complete with “tupperware” box, serial numbered to pistol but incorrectly citing GEN 1, containing plastic cleaning rod.

Condition:

Excellent plus pistol, the slide having only the most minute handling marks on the right side, the exposed chamber with negligible wear. The as new frame is unusual in that it is a Generation 2 but with a blued serial number insert, suggesting a later replacement. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. Magazines and cleaning rod are in the same condition as the pistol. Near excellent "Tupperware type" shipping box. An unusual Glock GEN 2, possibly a Gen 1 with a factory replacement Gen 2 frame, whose details warrant further research.
