The Winchester Model 1902 was introduced at the turn of the 20th century as a continuation of Winchester’s early foray into affordable, single-shot rimfire rifles. Produced from 1902 to 1930, the Model 1902 was an evolution of the earlier Model 1900, incorporating refinements in safety and sighting systems. Designed for youth shooters, beginners, and small game hunters, this takedown rifle became a trusted and popular firearm in rural America for nearly three decades.

This particular Winchester Model 1902 is a classic example of early 20th-century American gunmaking. It features a blued steel barrel, showing honest wear and light to moderate handling marks from years of use. The bore is in poor condition, possibly suitable for plinking or display with some visible wear from use.
