Description:
Truly one of the most iconic tactical shotguns to ever exist, the Benelli M4 is renowned for its durability and reliability in the harshest of environments. The M4 has been fielded by the United States Marine Corps under the M1014 designation (with commercial commemorative models available on the civilian market) and many other law enforcement agencies and militaries around the world. Fueled by Benelli's patented ARGO gas piston system, the Benelli M4 is optimized for fighting loads such as buckshot and slugs, but can also cycle medium target loads on the target range. Though the pistol grip-equipped shotguns are the most iconic, traditional-stocked models are also available. This particular piece for sale is a Law Enforcement model typically only sold to Law Enforcement and Military customers with active credentials. What separates this model from other commercial models is its full-length magazine tube which holds 7+1 shells of 12 gauge and the twist-collapsing adjustable stock with rubberized pistol grip. The shotgun is equipped with a white 3-dot sight profile made up of an adjustable rear ghost ring sight with adjustable front sight post. The receiver also has a picatinny rail mounted to the top for adding various optics. Also added to this shotgun is an AVA Tactical barrel clamp light mount with a Lasermax laser aiming unit attached to the picatinny section. The 18 ½" barrel is chrome-lined for protection from the elements and easier cleaning, leading to extended longevity. This model is also threaded for Beretta/Benelli choke tubes and includes one full choke tube installed in the gun. This shotgun is in overall good condition but does have some light surface pitting inside the barrel. Based on wear throughout the gun, it could be buildup from slugs, damage from hardened loads, or lack of service. It could also be a defect from the manufacture with an imperfect chroming job. 12 Gauge
