Up for sale is a Ballester-Molina, chambered in .45 ACP. Manufactured in Argentina by HAFDASA (Hispano-Argentina Fábrica de Automóviles S.A.), the Ballester-Molina is a robust military sidearm based on the Colt 1911 design. Produced between the late 1930s and 1950s, these pistols were issued to Argentine armed forces and also used by British forces during WWII.
Although similar in appearance to a Colt 1911, the Ballester-Molina has a slightly simplified design and is known for its reliability and durability.
