Exquisite example of a Mauser action English sporting rifle. Made in Birmingham, England in 1972. High gloss English walnut stock with a curved cheek comb and rosewood fore end tip. Period correct Mauser 3 x 9 x 40 scope. Overall condition is near mint. The metal is perfect. The wood has two light handling marks (see two close up pictures 13 and 14). Barrel length is 24". This is a pristine example of a beautiful 53 year old rifle, perfect for deer hunting or just adding to a collection.
