Description:
Winchester 1897 "Trench Gun" pump action shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. The serial number (685538) suggests that it was produced in 1918 and is within the range of serial numbers produced for the US Military. "US"/(Flaming Bomb) on right side of receiver in front of ejection port. "RA-P" stamp (Raritan Arsenal) on pistol grip suggests that the buttstock has been replaced. 20-inch barrel with fixed Cylider choke and hole where front sight bead was removed before mounting of the heat shield. No accessories. 12 Gauge
