Description:
This used Ruger SFAR for sale is a 16"-barreled rifle with a spray paint "rattlecanned" pattern resembling Crye Precision's Multicam camouflage pattern and chambered in .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO. The Ruger SFAR is a semi-automatic AR-10 rifle platform with an impressively light construction, compared to competitors in the industry. The upper and lower receivers are smaller than others like the Aero Precision M5 or DPMS, yet reinforced in various critical areas to maintain an operable level of longevity. Because of the smaller dimensions, the SFAR is able to accept most common AR-15 aftermarket trigger groups and safeties, but uses standard AR-10 magazines and bolts. The Ruger SFAR .308 is capable of firing both .308 Winchester and lower-pressured 7.62x51mm NATO cartridges. The 16"-barreled rifle has a large OEM 2-port muzzle brake installed and features a 1:10 twist rate. The gas block is adjustable for tuning the recoil impulse and for use with a suppressor. The rifle has mil-spec controls and an OEM Ruger charging handle. The rifle is fitted with Magpul furniture, including an MOE pistol grip, MOE-SL collapsing buttstock with rubber buttpad, and a Magpul ASAP QD endplate. The handguard is an original aluminum 15" free-floating handguard with M-lok attachment slots on the 12, 3, 6, and 9-o'clock positions and small picatinny sections at each end of the handguard. The upper receiver otherwise is a flat-top receiver without any iron sights or optics included. The rifle is overall in good condition. The internals are in good condition with no rust or pitting anywhere and showing little wear. Most of the externals are, of course, spray-painted with the camo pattern, but certain parts were taped off or removed (charging handle and muzzle brake) and the paint does not seem to affect manipulations at all. This rifle does not include a case or box and comes with one 20-round Magpul PMag magazine. .308/7.62mm
