Colt Pocket Positive .32 Police Cal.
Listed is a Colt Pocket Positive Revolver in .32 Police Cal. The Pocket Positive was the same revover as the New Pocket with the addition of Colt's new "Positive Safety" feature. The Positive Safety was a steel bar that retracted down inside the action as the trigger was pulled and allowed the hammer to move forward and fire the cartridge. This added an additional layer of safety to the Colt rebounding hammer that made it safer. The Pocket Positive with its Positive Safety finalized the design that Colt would use up until 1969. This 3 1/2" nickel Pocket Positive is a 1st issue with a last patent date of 1905 that was manufactured in 1914 with serial number 68484.
