Description:
The Remington® Model 597™ Semi-Auto Rimfire Rifle is a great choice for plinking, small game hunting, or firearms training. The model 597 features a super reliable bolt guidance system that uses twin tool-steel guide rails, and a unique positive locking, permanently rigid barrel attachment clamp. A cross bolt safety and a last shot ''hold open'' bolt provide safe handling. A nickel-plated sear and hammer contribute to the crisp and smooth trigger pull that enhances accurate shooting. The Remington Model 597 Semi-Auto Rimfire Rifle comes with front and rear open sights and is drilled and tapped for Weaver scope bases. .22 Long Rifle
