"Serial No. 2404, made in 1915, .303 British, 25 ½" round barrel. Rifle is in overall very good condition, with matching serial numbers, including the magazine. Originally built as a standard WWI-issue Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE), this example has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount and fitted with a Redfield 3x–9x scope. Optics are clear, and mount appears solid and professionally installed. Stock shows expected field wear, with scattered nicks, dings, and scratches consistent with age and use. The action is smooth and functions correctly, maintaining the fast-cycling bolt characteristic of the SMLE platform.
