.40-70 caliber, 30" full octagon replacement barrel. Casehardened falling block receiver with external hammer. Plain walnut forend and pistol grip buttstock ending with a checkered steel buttplate. Single set trigger. Globe front sight and contempory windage and elevation Vernier type tang sight. Mint bore. In very nice condition with the barrel having and even smooth brown finish. The receiver is silver mixing with gray. Nice wood with only some minor handling marks. Great shooter.
