Outstanding and rarely seen Pre War Model 12 Skeet grade 2 barrel set with solid ribs and matching serial numbers!
S/N 874454 made in 1941.
This fine shotgun features a desirable 26" raised matted rib (solid rib) barrel choked WS-1, is stamped SKEET on the bottom of the receiver, and has a factory deluxe, finely checkered pistol grip stock with 14" LOP to the Winchester buttplate, with matching checkered forearms.
Additionally, it was ordered with a matching S/N, easily interchangable 30" raised matted rib (solid rib) barrel half with full choke. This is the current configuration as assembled.
The overall condition of the set is excellent, showing 96% original finishes throughout, with bright shiny bores and flawless mechanical functions.
The safety has been upgraded to an improved period made larger finger pad version, which required NO alteration whatsoever and can be easily returned to original in minutes with the readily available and inexpensive part if so inclined.
This is a great and rare find that you will seldom if ever see offered, especially in SKEET grade and with matching # solid rib barrels!
