ABOUT NEW CONDITION, EARLY POST WAR MODEL 71 DELUXE WITH FANCIER THAN STANDARD WALNUT, .348 WCF, #25XXX, MADE 1947. Aside from the fancy walnut and the overall condition, it is fitted with the desirable bolt peep sight with a blank in the rear barrel dovetail and no indication of ever having a rear barrel sight. Regains about all the blue- even on the forend cap, checkered steel butt plate, and bottom of the lever etc. Correct super grade inletted swivel stud in the butt and matching one on the forend cap. Minty bore. This one would be hard to improve upon and especially attractive with the fancy walnut and bolt peep!
