The Winchester model 270 is relatively rare in the 200 series for Winchester rifles. The 200 series model were the 250, 255, 270, 275 and 290. Winchester's total production for the 200 Series family of rifles is over 1.6 million. These rifles were produced from 1963 to 1973.
