"SN: C86828. 1920's vintage .44-40 with a 18.5"" barrel. Bore is excellent. Scarce pump action carbine in desirable .44-40 caliber. Has about 90% blue with very light wear and some thinning of the blue on the receiver. The wood is very good with some handling wear to the varnish on the forend. Has a Lyman peep sight added to the tang. A very collectible Remington carbine, hard to find in this condition.
