Description
For sale: a Yugo capture K98 Mauser in good condition. This is an example of a historic K98 pattern rifle that was obtained as a wartime capture and refinished in Yugoslav inventory. It is chambered in 8mm Mauser and functions as a bolt-action rifle with 3 position saftey. Receiver, bolt, and barrel show minor wear with only some scratches and dings that are common for wartime military surplus. Stock is in good shape and will show normal wear to be expected on a military surplus rifle.
Mechanical condition: bolt cycles smoothly and safety operates correctly. This gun still has alot of cosmoline on it and will need to be deep cleaned before firing. Bore: Bright with strong rifling and no pitting. Proof marks: All original german markings have been scrubbed off this rifle and it will only have Yugo markings like the Yugo crest on it.
