This Polish WZ 29 was altered to fill the role of a hunting rifle, a process commonly referred to as \"Sporterizing\", aka this is a \"Sporterized\" rifle. It features a Redfield 4X scope with rings.
The Polish WZ 29 bolt-action rifle was patterned off the German Kar98AZ and was adopted by the Polish military. It served as one of the many rifles used by the Polish armed forces, in 1918 when Poland regained their independence they needed as many rifles as they could get their hands on. So, the WZ 29 saw service alongside Russian and German firearms from WWI.
The WZ 29 was a domestic weapon that provided the Polish soldiers with a reliable and accurate rifle for combat. Its design was influenced by the German weapon but it was adapted to fit the needs of the Polish military. Despite its origins, the WZ 29 played a significant role in the defense of Poland and became a staple firearm for many Polish soldiers during this period.
