Description:
C. Sharps New Model 1895 Carbine, chambered in .52 Cal. Features include: walnut stock, blue barrel, patch box, iron furniture and color case-hardening on the following: breechblock, level, receiver, trigger plate. You can see the Sharps and RS Lawrence patent stamps on the right side of the receiver. A new rear sight may have been put in place of a damaged original as there does not appear to be the usual stamp on it. Rifling is surprisingly crisp, and the bore is clean. Metal has varying amounts of corrosion and patina present. .52 Cal Rimfire
