This Cooper Firearms Model 57-M .22 LR Jackson Squirrel Rifle with Inlet Swivels & Bases, 22" Barrel. The Cooper Model 57-M is a repeating bolt action rifle designed for high accuracy utilizing rimfire cartridges. This rifle has features inlet swivels on both the forward and rear positions of the stock to accommodate your favorite sling and has Talley bases installed for easy scope mounting. The Model 57-M also comes standard with a detachable magazine. All Model 57-M rifles carry the 1/2" at 100 yards Cooper Firearms of Montana, Inc. accuracy guarantee. The Model 57, 22LR, was added to Cooper's line-up in 1999, eventually evolving into the Model 57M in 2001 with a wide assortment of stock styles to choose from. In 2005, two new stock designs became available; the "Phoenix" a synthetic version of the Montana Varminter and the "Jackson Squirrel Rifle", is said to be the Cadillac of squirrel guns.
