Unlike the standard Modular Optic System (MOS), the A-CUT is designed for a direct, plate-free mount of the Aimpoint COA micro red dot sight, creating an exceptionally stable and low-profile setup.
Key features of the G19 Gen 5 A-CUT combo
Integrated mounting: The most significant feature is the A-CUT slide cutout, which allows the included Aimpoint COA red dot sight to be mounted directly to the slide without an adapter plate. This eliminates potential points of failure and increases durability.
Aimpoint COA sight: The A-CUT pistol is paired with the Aimpoint COA sight, a smaller, concealed carry-focused red dot based on the rugged ACRO series. Its fully enclosed emitter protects against dust, moisture, and debris.
Low-profile design: The direct-mount system creates a lower-sitting optic than traditional adapter plates, which helps with co-witnessing the included iron sights.
Enhanced durability: The optic locks directly into the slide‚s cut with a forward ledge and a rear clamp/sight plate, providing a more robust connection than two-screw optics.
