Description:
This Savage Arms Model 840 in .30-30 Winchester remains in good overall condition. It has a Redfield (USA) 4x scope mounted to the receiver via a Weaver mount. The wood stock appears to have been refinished and displays a homemade type checkering on the forend. A previous owner's initial have been carved into the end of the grip. The blue shows some wear on the high edges. The bore is bright with distinct rifling. Some powder fouling is present. A leather sling is also included. .30-30 Winchester
