Early US-Navy 2nd contract Lee Model 1879 bolt action. 45-70 caliber, in great condition. It is a rare US Navy rifle completed by Remington. Late 1870s to 1880s. There is a WMF US navy anchor mark on the left side of the receiver. One of the first military rifle to use detachable box magazine. Patented November 4 1879. It Is in phenomenal condition for historical rifle . Has a bayonet and ramrod. Absolutely worth the money.
