Description:
This example has 28" chopper lump barrels, a front bead sight, ejectors, 2-3/4" chambers, a plain tapered concave top rib with scroll engraving on breech end of rib. The left barrel is marked "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN". The right barrel is marked "B-S/S SPECIAL STEEL 12GA. SHELLS 2-3/4"". The barrel flats are marked with the serial number, proof stamps, and choke markings "FULL, IMP MOD". The checkered splinter forend has the Anson push button release with light scroll engraving on the iron. The receiver is a coin finished sidelock action with engraved scroll and floral bursts. The barrel bolsters and long tang trigger guard are also scroll engraved. The bottom of frame is marked "BROWNING" with surrounding scroll work. This gun also ha an auto safety. The stocks are a two piece checkered walnut with a splinter forearm, straight grip and comb, unmarked initial plate in the belly, and the butt of the stock is checkered wood. Comes in the original Browning travel case with snaps caps, oil bottle, cleaning bushes, cleaning rod, and the case key. Overall this Browning appears unused and remains in like new condition. 12 Gauge
